EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS

Learn and grow as a group.

At a very young age, I fell in love with the art of dance and body movement. I became a Physiotherapist to share that love with others by helping them continue to enjoy their movement too.

Knowledge is key to maintaining, regaining or improving the ability to continue enjoying movement.

I offer highly engaging in-person or online workshops to share my love of movement and empower people through knowledge to prevent injuries so they can remain active longer.

Anyone can participate, including student dancers, student athletes, teens, teachers, coaches or adults. When planning, we can discuss ideal group dynamics.

I can work with you or your organization to deliver…

  • In-person workshops or talks on various topics related to body movement, injury prevention, dance and more!

  • Online workshops or talks

TESTIMONIALS

“Jen has taught several workshops for members of Cecchetti Canada, all of whom are teachers of ballet. It was evident that she had put a lot of thought into her presentations, to ensure the learning outcomes related specifically to dance. Calling on her own background in ballet and her thorough command of the subject matter she kept her workshops relevant, detailed, clear and highly informative.

Jen is engaging and highly professional and the response from our workshop participants was uniformly positive and enthusiastic.”

— Christine Richardson, Fellow and Examiner CC-CICB and Vice Chair, Cecchetti Canada

“As a dance educator in the Oakville community, I strongly recommend Jennifer Denys to assist with all of your physiotherapy needs. Her calm manner, intelligent and thorough communication, and attention to detail have assisted in keeping dancers moving, while taking care to reach complete healing from injury. Jennifer has also provided excellent educational workshops for our dancers and their families, with a focus on injury prevention. Through discussion, movement, and practical demonstration, she provides informative and fun sessions that motivate dancers to take care of their bodies and train in a healthy way. We are grateful for all of the work that she does.”
